Department of Computer Science conducted a guest lecture on the title “Introduction to Cloud Computing” on 21st March 2024. The programme commenced with the prayer song. Ms. S.Monika of III BCA welcomed the gathering.
Ms.M.Mythili of II BCA introduced the Guest Speaker. The guest speaker Dr. P. Muthusamy, Professor & Head, Department of Cyber Security and MCA, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), Namakkal, in his lecture, provided a succinct overview, outlining the objectives and significance of cloud computing. He also explained about cloud evolution and cloud computing architecture. He gave a nice explanation and examples of cloud computing providers. He provided a thorough description of the uses, areas and opportunities associated with cloud computing. He clearly explained the services and deployment models very precisely. Finally, he gave a clear idea about better budget utilisation of cloud computing. Students eagerly listened and had some interactions with the expert.
Ms. P.Priyadharshini of III B.Sc. (CS) delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the programme came to an end with the National Anthem.
